I wanted you
that day at the beach
because you were beautiful
and because you smiled at me
and because I knew your world
was different.
But I lost you
even before we had met
and I ran on the beach all day
to relieve the tension.
Better to live
in a birdless country without sun
than go your way alone- always.
But what could I have said?
Your smile was a warm wall.

no one knows.
my night:
went to a friend’s and ate way too much dairy product
got overwhelmed with sleepiness so decided it was time to trek it home
stopped at the superstore to grab a new pillow
got stuck out in a downpour waiting for the bus
started to walk to the next bus stop instead of wait in the rain
bus comes while I’m between stops..so I run with pillow hanging out of bag
pillow...
